Russia claims to have taken control of another settlement in eastern Ukraine

ISTANBUL (AA) – Russia on Monday claimed that its troops had captured the settlement of Kotlyarovka in Ukraine’s eastern Donetsk region.

According to a statement by the Russian Defense Ministry, units from the Center group of forces defeated Ukrainian troops across several settlements.

There has been no immediate response from Ukrainian authorities regarding the claim, and verifying battlefield developments independently remains difficult due to the ongoing war.
