Saudi club Al-Hilal confirms signing of Serbian midfielder Milinkovic-Savic

ISTANBUL (AA) – Serbian midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic has moved to Al-Hilal from Lazio, the Saudi club announced on Wednesday.

"Coming from Italy’s eagles, Savic represents Asia’s Lead," Al Hilal tweeted.

Milinkovic-Savic has formerly made appearances for Vojvodina, Genk, and Lazio.

The 28-year-old scored 69 goals and 59 assists in 341 matches for Lazio.

However, the Saudi club did not reveal the contract's financial details.

The club previously signed Kalidou Koulibaly from Chelsea and Ruben Neves from Wolverhampton.

While former Fenerbahce coach Jorge Jesus returned to Al-Hilal, signing a contract until the end of the 2023-24 season.
