ISTANBUL (AA) - The Saudi International Falcons and Hunting Exhibition 2025 opened in Riyadh on Thursday, drawing more than 1,300 exhibitors and brands from 45 countries.
The event, organized by the Saudi Falcons Club, runs through Oct. 11 at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center in Malham.
Talal bin Abdulaziz AlShamaisi, CEO of the Saudi Falcons Club, said the exhibition has become a global hub for falconry and hunting, combining cultural heritage with innovation, investment, and tourism opportunities.
This year’s exhibition features a major highlight – the Chinese pavilion, where more than 50 companies are showcasing advanced farming solutions, outdoor and hunting gear, drones, smart technologies, prefabricated rooms, and authentic Chinese cuisine.
Covering 3,000 square meters across 31 pavilions, the pavilion also features handicrafts, fashion displays, and cultural performances.
The event offers 28 specialized sectors and 23 family-friendly events, including the Mongolian Falcons Zone, the Saluqi Museum, the UNESCO-listed Hima Najran heritage site, the Future Falconer Village, and the Digital Shalail Museum. Visitors can participate in interactive experiences such as falcon-calling shows, equestrian performances, karting, camel rides, archery, and shooting ranges.
Another centerpiece is the annual Al-Melwah falcon race, scheduled for Oct. 5-10, with 60 winners across six categories sharing a total prize pool of 600,000 Saudi riyals ($160,000).
