18 Daesh suspects apprehended in SE Turkey

Daesh suspects were allegedly planning to launch attacks during July 15 commemorations in Gaziantep

GAZIANTEP, Turkey (AA) – Eighteen Daesh suspects, including Syrian and Iraqi nationals, were apprehended in southeastern Turkey, the governorship said on Thursday.

Turkish police captured 18 suspects, including eight Syrian nationals and one Iraqi, who were allegedly planning to launch an attack on July 15, the day of commemorations for the defeat of last year's coup attempt, in an operation in the province of Gaziantep, the statement issued by the governorship read.
