ANKARA (AA) - A boat with 27 people aboard capsized in southwestern China on Thursday.
The boat capsized in Lancang river in Xishuangbanna, an autonomous region in southwestern Yunnan province, local newspaper The People's Daily reported.
While nine have been rescued, a search operation is continuing for other 18 people.
The incident comes days after eight primary school students drowned in a river in southwest China on Sunday.
