ISLAMABAD (AA) – At least 18 Pakistani soldiers and 12 terrorists were killed in a clash in southwestern Pakistan, the military said Saturday.
The clash erupted overnight in the Mangocher area of Kalat district in Balochistan province when militants attempted to establish roadblocks, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Pakistani army's media wing, said in a statement.
"Security Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies were immediately mobilized, who successfully thwarted the evil design of terrorists," it said, adding that 18 soldiers also lost their lives in the fighting.
