WASHINGTON (AA) – Two bailiffs and a suspected gunman were killed Monday during a shooting at a Michigan courthouse, according to a local sheriff.
Berrien County Undersheriff Chuck Heit told CNN that a bystander and a law enforcement officer were also injured.
The shooting took place at the Berrien County Courthouse.
Michigan State Police have secured the scene, and began an investigation into the shooting, Gov. Rick Snyder wrote on Twitter.
