2 injured from small blasts in Bangkok

3 separate blasts being investigated in Thai capital hosting current southeast Asian nations meeting

ANKARA (AA) - Amid a nearby international conference, at least two people were reported injured in Bangkok after three explosions occurred in various locations on Friday morning.

The Thai capital is currently hosting foreign ministers from Britain, the U.S., Russia, and China for the annual meeting of foreign ministers of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), which began on Wednesday.

Local media reported that two street cleaners were slightly injured and taken to the hospital.

The police reported that the affected areas have been blocked off and police are investigating.
