MOSCOW (AA) - Two people were killed and one injured when a helicopter on Friday made a hard landing on Russia's largest island, the country's Emergency Ministry announced.
Four people, two pilots and two passengers, were aboard the Robinson R44 helicopter at the time of the accident, after which the injured person was transported to a hospital in the nearest city of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk.
Pilot error is being considered as a cause of the accident.
