NEW DELHI (AA) - At least two people were killed and many others were feared trapped after a fire broke out at a pharmaceutical plant in southern India on Monday, the Press Trust of India news agency reported.
As many as 14 others also suffered injuries in the suspected explosion in Telangana state’s Sangareddy district.
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy inquired about the accident, and issued orders to intensify relief measures, his office said. He directed that all necessary actions be taken to rescue the workers trapped and provide emergency medical assistance to the injured.
