2 Palestinian siblings injured in Gaza brought to Türkiye for treatment

Rahaf, Mohammed Khalil Salman injured by Israeli missile that struck northern Gaza Strip on Aug. 6

ANKARA (AA) - Two Palestinian siblings were brought to Türkiye for treatment on Thursday upon the instruction of the country's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Injured by shrapnel from an Israeli missile that fell on the northern Jabalia area of the Gaza Strip on Aug. 6, Mohammed Khalil Salman, 13, and his 11-year-old brother Rahaf, were brought to Ankara on an ambulance plane of Turkish Health Ministry, according to the Communications Directorate.

The ambulance plane landed at Esenboga Airport at 1.00 p.m. local time (2200GMT) on Wednesday, and the brothers were taken to Ankara City Hospital for treatment.
