Suspect reportedly in custody after mass shooting at school in South Carolina

WASHINGTON (AA) - At least two people were reportedly shot at a South Carolina elementary school on Wednesday.

It's unclear if the victims are teachers, students or others.

Police are responding to the incident at Townville Elementary School.

Fox Carolina News reported that a suspect is in custody.

The shooting is the latest in a series of mass shootings that have plagued the U.S.

Turkish immigrant Arcan Cetin was charged with opening fire on a Seattle-area mall last weekend, killing five people. And Nathan Desai, a disgruntled lawyer, injured nine people at a Houston mall Tuesday before being fatally shot by police.
