NEW YORK (AA) - Twenty-eight people were injured Saturday after a vehicle ran over a crowd watching the Krewe of Endymion parade in New Orleans, Louisiana, according to police.

A suspect was taken into custody as an investigation continues, police chief Michael Harrison told reporters.
