KAHRAMANMARAS, Türkiye (AA) – Thirty-seven hours after powerful earthquakes shook Türkiye, a man was pulled alive from under the rubble.
Nadir Yildiz was rescued from the rubble left behind by a nine-story building by police, soldiers and civilians in Kahramanmaras province, the epicenter of 7.7 and 7.6 magnitude earthquakes.
Yildiz was referred to the nearest hospital.
At least 3,549 people were killed and 22,168 injured in 10 provinces across Türkiye after two strong earthquakes jolted the country's south on Monday.
