NEW DELHI (AA) – At least four people were killed after a four-story building collapsed in the national capital of New Delhi, officials said Saturday.
A rescue operation is underway and eight -10 people are still feared trapped under the rubble, said Sandeep Lamba, a senior police official, who added the collapse took place in the early morning in the Mustafabad area.
Rana said that 14 victims were rescued. “People were living on rent and the cause of the collapse is part of the investigation,” said Lamba.
The National Disaster Response Force is also part of the rescue operation, said officials.
