ISTANBUL (AA) - Four people were killed in an explosion at a factory in the city of Kopeysk in Russia's Chelyabinsk region on Wednesday, Governor Alexei Teksler said.
Teksler said that according to initial reports, four people lost their lives and five others were injured, while the wounded are in serious condition and have been taken to hospital.
“All emergency services have arrived on site, and a command post has been deployed. There is no threat to the city's residents or civilian objects. Information will be updated as it becomes available," he added.
He also noted that there is no confirmed information that the explosion was caused by drone strike, and that an investigation is underway into cause of the blast.
Russian media reports indicated that the factory produces plastic products.
