4 Palestinians injured in Israeli raid in West Bank

Two Palestinians were reportedly arrested during the Israeli raid

JENIN, Palestine (AA) – Four Palestinians were injured in an Israeli raid in the West Bank city of Jenin on Thursday, according to the Palestinian Health Ministry.

Clashes broke out when Israeli forces raided a number of houses in the Jenin refugee camp in the northern West Bank, the ministry said in a statement.

Israeli forces used live ammunition, rubber bullets and teargas canisters to disperse any residents.

“Four Palestinians were injured with live ammunition and were transferred to hospital for medical treatment,” the ministry said.

Dozens of Palestinians also suffered temporary asphyxiation from Israeli teargas, the statement said.

Two Palestinians were reportedly arrested during the Israeli raid.

There was no comment from the Israeli military on the report.

The Israeli army frequently raids cities and villages across the occupied West Bank on the pretext of searching for “wanted” Palestinians.
