ISTANBUL (AA) – Four Syrian regime soldiers were killed and three others were injured in an Israeli missile attack on the Syrian capital Damascus on Wednesday, according to the state news agency SANA.
Citing a military source, SANA said the Israeli military targeted several positions of the Bashar al-Assad regime's forces in Damascus' vicinity.
Four soldiers were killed and three others were injured in the Israeli attack, which also inflicted material damage, the news agency said quoting local sources.
There was no comment from the Israeli military on the report.
Syrian air defenses intercepted and destroyed several Israeli missiles, these sources added.
Israel has carried out several airstrikes in Syria, targeting positions of the Assad regime's forces and Iranian troops stationed there.
