6.2 magnitude earthquake strikes south of Fiji

Quake was 632 kilometers deep, with no immediate reports of casualties or infrastructure damage

ISTANBUL (AA) - A 6.2 magnitude earthquake struck south of the Fiji islands on Sunday, said the German Research Center for Geosciences.

The quake was 632 kilometers (393 miles) deep, and its epicenter was initially determined to be at 21.71 degrees south latitude and 179.71 degrees east longitude.

There were no immediate reports of casualties or damage to infrastructure.
