ISLAMABAD, Pakistan (AA) – Pakistan’s Dolphin Unit, trained by Turkish police, began its duties a month ago in Lahore city, Turkey’s ambassador to Islamabad said on Sunday.
“700 police officers have received training from Turkish police,” Ambassador Sadik Babur Girgin told Anadolu Agency.
Girgin said the unit would be established in other cities as well. Turkish instructors will train Pakistani traffic police as well, he added.
