ISTANBUL (AA) – At least six people are missing and eight others were injured when an explosion ripped through a chemical factory in northwest China, local media said on Friday.
The explosion ripped through a chemical factory in the city of Lanzhou, northwest Gansu province, late Thursday evening, state-run CGTN reported.
The cause of the explosion is being ascertained.
Local authorities rushed the injured to a hospital while a rescue operation for the missing people is going on.
