ISTANBUL (AA) - Nine people were injured after a storm caused violent turbulence on a Ryanair flight in Germany late Wednesday.
The storm in southern Germany caused severe turbulence on a Ryanair flight and injured 9 people on board the plane carrying 179 passengers and six crew members, according to the German press agency (dpa).
The severe turbulence forced the plane, en route from Berlin to Milan, to land at the Memmingen Airport in Germany.
Three of the injured people were hospitalized for treatment.
The storm also damaged several houses around the southwestern city of Ulm.
