95 injured in Tunisia train collision

No deaths reported

TUNIS, Tunisia (AA) – Two trains collided in the Tunisian capital, Tunis, on Monday, injuring 95 commuters, according to local authorities.


No fatalities were reported in the accident, Moez Trea, a spokesman of Tunisia’s National Civil Protection Office, told Anadolu Agency.


He said those injured in the collision were transferred to hospital for treatment.


“The Tunisian Railways has opened an investigation to determine the causes of the collision,” he added.
