AMSTERDAM (AA) - Ajax's Dutch-Moroccan midfielder Mohamed Ihattaren's luxury car was torched, according to Dutch media on Tuesday.
De Telegraaf said police launched an investigation with suspicion of arson after the 20-year-old's Porsche Panamera was burned at 3 a.m. local time (0100GMT) in Utrecht.
It previously said in August that the Ihattaren family was threatened.
"Jealousy is in the air. Luckily material is easily replaceable," Mohamed Ihattaren, who is married to TikTok celebrity, Yasmine, last weekend, said on Instagram.
His brother Yassir's car, a BMW 3 series, was previously burned.
The cause of that fire is still unknown.
