Amateur team Bourgoin-Jallieu eliminated five-time winner Olympique Lyon from the French Cup (Coupe de France) on Wednesday.
Bourgoin-Jallieu knocked Lyon out in a 4-2 penalty shootout after a 2-2 draw in normal and extra time in the round of 32.
Nemanja Matic and Georges Mikautadze netted the goals for Lyon in the 45th and 64th minutes at Bourgoin-Jallieu's Stade Pierre Rajon.
Young French midfielder Mehdi Moujetzky scored both goals for the hosts in the 20th and 69th minutes.
With 15 titles, defending champions Paris Saint-Germain are the most successful team in the domestic competition, which has been held annually since 1917.
