BISHKEK (AA) - An Anadolu Agency correspondent has been honored by the largest non-governmental organization in the central Asian republic of Kyrgyzstan.
Nezir Aliyev was bestowed a certificate of high honor by the People's Assembly of Kyrgyzstan for his contribution to strengthening harmony and peace among ethnic groups.
Tokon Mamitov, the head of the group, congratulated Aliyev.
The People's Assembly of Kyrgyzstan gathers the associations of ethnic groups living in Kyrgyzstan under one roof.
Late last year Anadolu Agency was also granted awards by Kyrgyzstan’s presidency and the Istanbul-based World Union of Ahiska Turks (DATUB).
