ANKARA (AA) - The Turkish leading news wire, Anadolu Agency, is operating in nearly 100 countries with its 41 offices around the world, the agency’s Director General and Board Chairman Senol Kazanci said on Friday.
In a written statement on the occasion of 98th anniversary of the agency, Kazanci said Anadolu Agency currently broadcasts in 13 different languages.
“98-year-old Anadolu Agency is among the deep-rooted institutions that carries Turkish flag to the world,” he said.
Anadolu Agency has also published a brand new book “Muhabir” to transfer contemporary journalism knowledge to Turkish media, he noted.
“Anadolu Agency was established by Mustafa Kemal Ataturk to stand against the baseless propaganda of invaders and disseminate Anatolian voice inside and abroad,” he underscored.
He also expressed his gratitude to the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Prime Minister Binali Yildirim and Deputy Prime Minister Bekir Bozdag for supporting the agency.
He wished success to Anadolu Agency’s staffers.
