Turkey from the Sky offers scenic views of country at International Istanbul Book Fair

ISTANBUL (AA) - Anadolu Agency publication, Turkey from the Sky, met visitors Saturday in three languages in the country’s largest international book fair.

The 38th International Istanbul Book Fair organized by Tuyap Fairs in partnership with the Turkish Publishers Association, offers visitors a wide range of books in Turkish, Arabic and English languages.

Anadolu Agency is the global communications partner of the fair, where the book featuring spectacular bird’s-eye views of Turkey is also available in the three languages with updated edition.

Shots by experienced Turkish news agency photojournalists, that is nearly a century old -- from Black Sea plateaus to Anatolia’s cultural heritage can be found, delighting photo enthusiasts worldwide.

Anadolu Agency gathered photographs from all around the country for the volume, taking full advantage of the possibilities and techniques provided by new photographic technology.

The book also features historic Seljuk and Ottoman remains, including mosques, caravanserais, palaces, bridges and madrasas.

Anadolu Agency’s stall at the fair also offers its other books including, Reporter, Global Fault Lines in World Politics, Turkey’s Cultural Heritages and Jamal Khashoggi Murder.

The agency adds a new book to its publications almost every month, as well as annual almanacs that highlight prominent occasions during the year.

Founded in 1920, Anadolu Agency has long proven its reputation for professionalism and accurate news reporting in nearly a dozen languages, including Turkish, English, Arabic, Russian, French and Persian.
