ANKARA (AA) - Anadolu Agency is here with a rundown of the latest developments around the world.

Two more ships carrying sunflower seed and corn sailed from Ukrainian ports, according to Türkiye's National Defense Ministry.

The Turkish army appointed its first female general, said the Official Gazette.

At least 77 Yemenis have been killed by heavy rains and flooding in the war-torn country, according to the UN.

A 22-year-old man was killed and 40 people injured when strong winds hit the Medusa music festival in the Spanish region of Valencia.

Sri Lanka granted permission for a Chinese research vessel to visit the country after initially deferring the planned trip because of pressure from neighboring India.
