ISTANBUL (AA) - Anadolu Agency is here with a rundown of the latest developments around the world.

Turkish wrestler Riza Kayaalp won a gold medal Tuesday by beating Iran's Amin Mirzazadeh in the men's Greco-Roman 130 kg event at the 2022 World Wrestling Championships in Belgrade, Serbia.

Intense clashes broke out early Tuesday on Azerbaijan’s border with Armenia between troops of the two countries.

Fifty Azerbaijani soldiers have been killed in recent days in provocations by Armenia, Azerbaijan's Defense Ministry said.

Türkiye’s Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said Armenia should stop its provocations along the border with Azerbaijan and instead make peace.

The US urged Russia on Tuesday to use its "outsized influence" with Armenia and Azerbaijan to bring an end to a flare-up in violence that has left dozens dead.
