AnadoluJet adds Bulgaria's capital to flight destinations

Flights between Antalya, Sofia to operate twice a week, airline announces

ANKARA (AA) – AnadoluJet, a subsidiary of national flag carrier Turkish Airlines, has started direct flights between Turkey’s Mediterranean resort city of Antalya and Bulgaria’s capital Sofia.

Reciprocal flights between the two cities will operate twice a week on Wednesday and Saturday, the airline said in a statement on Tuesday.

With the addition of Sofia, the airline established in 2008 has increased the number of its destinations to 47.

Antalya is one of the most popular holiday destinations in Turkey, boasting lush forests, Blue Flag beaches, and rich cultural heritage.
