Ankara committed to deepening cooperation with Africa with 'win-win' approach, says Türkiye's communications head

Burhanettin Duran highlights Türkiye’s ‘win-win’ approach and enduring ties with Africa during 5th Türkiye-Africa Business and Economic Forum

ISTANBUL (AA) – Türkiye continues to share its expertise in various fields with Africa sincerely, without discrimination or prejudice, using a "win-win" approach, Türkiye's presidential communications head said on Friday.

"Türkiye continues to share its knowledge, experience, and cultural heritage with Africa sincerely, without discrimination, prejudice, or imposition, following a 'win-win' approach," Burhanettin Duran wrote on his Turkish social media account, Nsosyal, following the 5th Türkiye-Africa Business and Economic Forum.

He noted that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan once again presented Türkiye's vision for Africa at the forum, which is based on brotherhood, equality, and solidarity.

Duran added: “Declared as the ‘Year of Africa’ in 2005, this initiative has today evolved into a partnership that connects hearts. As our President stated, across Africa, the color of our tears is the same.

“This approach transforms Türkiye's relations with the continent from merely diplomatic or strategic partnerships into a moral and humanitarian bond. We view Africa, with which we have deep-rooted ties, not as a distant geography but as part of our shared destiny. Through relations carried out on the principles of peace, solidarity, and mutual respect at the international level, we aim to carry this legacy into the future.”
