ANKARA (AA) - The third edition of Antalya Diplomacy Forum (ADF) scheduled for March was postponed until later this year due to the devastating Feb. 6 earthquakes in Türkiye's southern region, which claimed the lives of more than 36,000 people.
"For Türkiye, now is the time to focus on helping those who are affected and on rebuilding the region. Under these circumstances, we are obliged to announce the postponement of the third edition of the ADF to the last quarter of this year," the organizers said in a statement on Thursday.
"We express our sincere gratitude to all our friends who have stood with us in this difficult time."
The annual conference was to held under the theme, Effective Diplomacy for Peace and Order, on March 10-12.
It is attended by heads of state and government, ministers, policymakers, opinion leaders, diplomats, business leaders, and academics to discuss and exchange ideas on global and regional issues.
