Antalya to host International Media Forum

Members of the media from 52 countries to meet at 2-day event in Mediterranean resort city

ISTANBUL (AA) - The International Media Forum will be held on May 22-23 in the Mediterranean resort city of Antalya.

The forum, supported by Turkey's Economy Ministry and the Turkish Exporters' Assembly (TIM), will bring together members of the international media, representatives, and journalists from 52 countries, said the Swiss-based International Media Group Global Connection (GC) in a statement.

The event, which is set to address such topics the economy, culture, and the media, is being carried out as part of the “Turkey – Discover the Potential” promotional campaign, according to the statement.

Expected to attend the event are Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim, Deputy Prime Minister Mehmet Simsek, Economy Minister Nihat Zeybekci, and Culture and Tourism Minister Nabi Avci, where they will speak to journalists about Turkey's economic, tourism, trade and investment potential, said the statement.
