ISTANBUL (AA) - The Pangalti Armenian Schools Foundation held an iftar, or fast-breaking dinner in Ramadan, at the Pangalti Armenian High School in Istanbul’s Sisli district.
“Thanks to the iftar events we organize every year, we are able to offer our gratitude to the statesman and to our dear friends," the founder representative of Private Pangalti Armenian Schools Berc Menzilcioglu told attendees.
“Thanks to these events, we find the opportunity to experience the happiness of being a big family and nation all together,” he said of the event that have been organized for five years.
Menzilcioglu expressed his hope the political, military and diplomatic campaign carried out by the Turkish state will bring peace to it, the region and to the whole of humanity.
Turkish officials from Sisli municipality, National Education Ministry and academicians attended the event.
