VIENNA (AA) - An avalanche in the Austrian Alps has killed at least four people and another is reported missing, rescue services said on Friday.
The avalanche struck an area near the Spiss town of Austria's Tyrol state, according to the emergency control service center in the province.
The area borders Switzerland, and rescue teams from both countries have been deployed, which continue air and ground operations.
