ANKARA (AA) - Athletic Bilbao reached the Spanish Super Cup final by securing a 2-1 comeback win Thursday against Atletico Madrid in the semifinal.
The first half ended in a 0-0 draw at King Fahd International Stadium.
Unai Simon's own goal gave Atletico Madrid a 1-0 lead in the 62nd minute. Yeray Alvarez scored the equalizer in the 77th minute.
Athletic Bilbao completed the comeback with Nicholas Williams' goal in the 81st minute.
They will face Real Madrid in the final on Sunday in the Saudi capital, Riyadh.
