BAKU (AA) - Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with Serbian Foreign Ministry State Secretary Damjan Jovic in Baku on Thursday to discuss strengthening their bilateral strategic partnership.
The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry said in a statement that their talks covered regional and international security issues, with both sides emphasizing that mutual support for territorial integrity and sovereignty is the foundation of their relationship.
They also discussed future cooperation in energy, defense, humanitarian aid, and education, stressing the importance of a memorandum of understanding signed by Azerbaijan's and Serbia's diplomatic academies.
An exchange of views was also held on enhancing cooperation in regional and international organizations.
