ANKARA - A bakery worker in the Philippines killed seven coworkers in a knife attack early Tuesday, according to police.

The attack took place in Antipolo City in Rizal province, east of the capital Manila, local broadcaster ABS-CBN reported.

Police said the suspect entered the bread store and fatally stabbed seven coworkers while they were asleep inside. He acted alone and later surrendered.

The male suspect was taken into custody shortly after the attack. In a video released by police on social media, he admitted to the killings and claimed the victims had conspired to kill him.
