PARIS (AA) - The Bataclan concert hall here reopened Saturday with a performance by British rock superstar Sting, a day before the first anniversary of deadly terror attacks that rocked the city.
A moment of silence for the victims was observed before the performance and Sting urged the audience of "two important things" to do.
"First, to remember and honor those who lost their lives in the attacks a year ago and to celebrate the life and the music of this historic venue," he said.
Ninety people were killed in the venue when Daesh-linked terrorists opened fire on the crowd and detonated explosives.
Additional attacks in restaurants and the Stade de France left a total of 130 dead and scores wounded.
France has planned various events Sunday to remember the victims.
