ISTANBUL (AA) - Belgian soldiers have shot a man in central Brussels after being attacked with a bladed weapon, local media reported on Friday.
The incident took place on Emile Jacqmain Avenue around 8 p.m. local time (1800GMT).
Broadcaster VRT said at least one soldier had been lightly injured.
The area is now sealed off, with police and army investigating.
The condition of the attacker is not clear.
