ANKARA (AA) – Besiktas on Thursday acquired English winger Nathan Redmond from Southampton.
In a statement, the Turkish football club confirmed that it signed a contract with Redmond, welcomed the player and wished him success.
The Istanbul club, however, did not disclose details of Redmond's contract.
Meanwhile, the English club thanked Redmond for his service and wished him best in his career.
Redmond, 28, previously played for English clubs Birmingham City, Norwich City and Southampton.
He helped Birmingham City win the 2011 English League Cup.
Redmond was a Southampton player between 2016 and 2022, and tallied 30 goals and 27 assists in 232 appearances for the Saints.
