DIYARBAKIR (AA) - An explosion in southeastern Turkey on Tuesday injured four people, according to the security sources.
The blast happened at a maintenance building belonging to the security forces in the southeastern city of Diyarbakir.
A large explosion took place in the provincial security directorate's maintenance facility in Diyarbakir’s Baglar district while an armored vehicle was undergoing repairs.
The building partially collapsed after the explosion, damaging other structures and vehicles in the area.
Ambulances and security officials have been dispatched to the area.
The cause of the explosion remains unknown.
Police officials have warned residents not to smoke and not to open gas bottles at home because of the risk of a possible gas leak.
