MOSCOW (AA) - Explosions rocked a Russian ammunition depot in Siberia, for the second time in a week on Friday, injuring nine people, reported the state-run TASS news agency.
Reports said, a fire broke out, following the explosions at the site in the Achinsk town, in Krasnoyarsk region in Siberia.
Explosions ripped through the same site on Monday, killing one person, injuring 13 others and prompting authorities to evacuate thousands of people from nearby areas.
On Tuesday, Russian Defense Ministry had said that the incident was over. They said bomb squads were in search of only some blind shells, which they promised to defuse soon.
But on Friday, the site was detonated once again.
The Achinsk ammunition store is one of the oldest in the Russian armed forces' ordnance network. It was due to be dismantled by 2022.
