ISTANBUL (AA) - Two people were killed and another nine injured on Thursday when a bomb went off in the regime-held city of Hama’s main bus terminal, according to the official Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA).

The news agency provided no further details.

Syria has been locked in a vicious civil war since early 2011, when the Assad regime cracked down on pro-democracy protests with unexpected ferocity.

Since then, more than 250,000 people have been killed and more than 10 million displaced by the conflict, according to the UN.
