ISTANBUL (AA) - Türkiye's benchmark stock index opened Monday at 13,641.51 points, increasing by 0.88% or 119.55 points.
On Friday, the BIST 100 fell 0.49% to close at 13,521.96 points, with a daily transaction volume of 166 billion liras ($3.81 billion).
As of 10.05 am local time (0705GMT), exchange rates stood at 43.5980 Turkish liras to the US dollar, 51.7075 to the euro, and 59.3660 to the British pound.
The price of an ounce of gold was $5,030.20, while Brent crude oil was trading at $67 per barrel.
