BIRMINGHAM, England (AA) - British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak is being probed by the parliamentary standards watchdog into claims he failed to declare an interest.
Sunak has been added to the list of politicians being probed by Commissioner Daniel Greenberg.
The probe was launched on Thursday last week, Greenberg said. Although the parliamentary website shows the investigation relates to paragraph six of the code, it is unclear what the issue is related to.
"Members must always be open and frank in declaring any relevant interest in any proceeding of the House or its committees, and in any communications with ministers, members, public officials or public office holders," the relevant section reads.
