ATHENS (AA) - Bulgaria reiterates the need for more time to send the second batch of military aid to Ukraine, according to a report on Wednesday.

Defense Minister Todor Togarev said that time is required to assess the content of the batch following the NATO summit in Vilnius, the state-run BTA news agency reported.

Additionally, Prime Minister Nikolay Denkov mentioned that the content and volume of the aid package would be similar to the first one sent by the caretaker government.

"It is very important that this aid arrives on time. It is tailored to what Ukraine needs, but first and foremost we look at what is needed for our army,” he said.
