ISTANBUL (AA) – At least 10 people were killed in a fatal bus accident in Australia on Sunday night, police said.
According to New South Wales Police Force, the incident happened in the state’s Hunter region.
Initial inquiries indicated that 10 people were killed, 18 others injured and 11 transported to hospital via helicopter and road, said the police.
It added that emergency services reached the accident scene when they received emergency calls around midnight to the roundabout on Wine Country Drive near the Hunter Expressway.
The call was made after the passenger coach skidded off the road.
