ANKARA (AA) – Cambodia’s Prime Minister Hun Sen will pay a visit to Turkey on Oct. 20-22, the first such visit at the prime ministerial level, the Turkish Presidency said on Friday.
In a statement, the presidency said that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will receive Hun Sen in Istanbul on Sunday.
Hun Sen later will also meet Turkish Parliament Speaker Binali Yildirim and talk with Turkish businesspeople at an event held by the Foreign Economic Relations Board of Turkey (DEIK).
The trip comes closely on the heels of a visit this month by Prak Sokhonn, Cambodia's deputy prime minister and foreign minister, reportedly with the announcement that Cambodia will open an embassy in Ankara.
